NORTHBROOK, IL: The Allstate Foundation, the charitable arm of the insurance giant of the same name, is conducting a review process to find a PR AOR.
Jan Epstein, executive director of the organization, said it wants “to give careful consideration” to each agency involved in the process to make sure the one it picks is the right fit.
“The firms put in a great deal of excellent thinking into their presentations, so we want to get it right,” she said. Patricia Lara Garza, director of strategic philanthropy at Allstate, declined to identify the organization's incumbent AOR.
The Allstate Foundation worked with Zeno Group in that capacity in the past.
The charitable organization is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Epstein said, adding that the wining firm will help it commemorate this milestone.
Zeno helped the group launch the “Tell a Gal P.A.L” cause-marketing campaign in 2008 that encouraged men and women to talk openly about domestic abuse. A year later, it worked on the organization's “Economics Against Abuse” program, which supported domestic abuse survivors by offering them financial empowerment and getting them to share their stories.
A representative from Zeno said the Allstate Foundation works with a number of agencies, including Zeno, but declined to comment on the review process.
In 2010, the organization also worked with Fleishman-Hillard on a domestic violence awareness campaign called “Your Choice to Empower.”
