WEST PALM BEACH, FL: The strategic communications arm of FTI Consulting reported a slight revenue drop of 1.4% in the fourth quarter of last year to $49.2 million.
However, the company's overall revenue grew 9.7% in Q4 2011 to $390.7 million, compared with the prior year. It earned $39.9 million in net income in the quarter.
For full-year 2011, FTI, which worked with clients such as Eastman Kodak last year, reported revenue of $1.6 billion, up 11.7% from fiscal 2010. FTI's fourth-quarter profit beat analyst expectations, according to Reuters.
FD, the strategic communications practice of FTI, rebranded under its parent company's name last September.
