NEW YORK: Lippe Taylor has hired former Porter Novelli brand marketing EVP Sheryl Kornfeld as EVP, a newly created position at the firm.
Kornfeld will be responsible for managing accounts, guiding strategy and brand development for clients, and overseeing PR and social media program creation. She will also focus on organic growth.
Kornfeld will report to agency MD Jessica DiPietro, working with a team of 15 to 20 staffers in the beauty, lifestyle, and wellness division.
“[My goal] is really to guide the brands and find the right ways to connect with our target woman, whoever she may be…and find meaningful ways to connect with her,” said Kornfeld.
Kornfeld most recently worked as a freelance consultant, focusing on business development for agencies. She worked with Euro RSCG while in that role.
Previously, Kornfeld spent 13 years at Porter Novelli, most recently serving as EVP in the agency's brand marketing practice. At Porter, she worked with clients including Bayer, Mars, Pepsi, and Pfizer. She also helped to launch products and celebrity campaigns for brands such as ChapStick, Gillette Fusion ProGlide, and Lysol.
Lippe Taylor recently hired Eric Kreller, former managing supervisor and group account director at Bromley Group, as its first fashion and lifestyle VP.
Earlier this month, Lippe Taylor president and partner Jim Joseph left the agency to join Cohn & Wolfe as president of the WPP Group agency's North America region.
