They work across industries, including financial services, arts/entertainment, and the government, to name a few. Their ages run the gamut from 20-somethings just starting their careers to senior professionals at agencies, corporations, and nonprofits.
In this infographic, though, we examine what the typical vice president of public relations looks like – a title synonymous with achievement in the industry. She is middle age, married with kids, and she works a whopping 51 hours per week. For her efforts, the American PR VP takes home an average salary of $137,800 and picked up an 8.4% raise last year.
