PRWeek awarded Zeno Group CEO Barby Siegel its “PR Professional of the Year” award, recognizing her leadership both inside and outside her agency.
In 2009, amid financial struggle, Siegel facilitated exceptional growth and success for Zeno Group. The firm gained 39 new clients since 2009, and made 10 staff hires at VP and senior levels since 2010. It also saw 17.4% revenue growth in 2011, and was named PRWeek's agency of the year in 2011.
She also supports efforts to broaden awareness of Alzheimer's disease and serves the elderly in her local community each week.
Jolie Hunt, SVP at Thomson Reuters, won honorable mention.
