Omnicom buys Medical Collective Intelligence

TOKYO: Omnicom Group's Diversified Agency Services unit, the ITOCHU Corporation, and several venture capital funds have acquired a majority stake in Medical Collective Intelligence, an online medical communications agency.

TOKYO: Omnicom Group's Diversified Agency Services unit, the ITOCHU Corporation, and several venture capital funds have acquired a majority stake in Medical Collective Intelligence, an online medical communications agency.

MCI clients include pharmaceutical and medical device companies. It will continue to operate as a standalone agency, working closely with sister healthcare companies within Omnicom in Asia, including Targis, AgencyRx Japan, and Polaris Consumer Healthcare.

Omnicom acquired Marina Maher Communications late last year.
