WASHINGTON: The Army Contracting Command will soon seek strategic communication support, according to a pre-solicitation notice.

WASHINGTON: The Army Contracting Command will soon seek strategic communication support, according to a pre-solicitation notice.

The potential scope of work would involve communication planning and execution on behalf of the office of the chief of public affairs. A selected agency would help the office reach stakeholders through traditional news media, social media, information products, and community relations events.

The firm would also be charged with executing communication campaign plans, data gathering, strategic crisis communication, outreach activities, exhibits, events, and conferences, according to the notice.

The contract would run for one year, with the option of a two-year renewal. The winning firm would be expected to start work this July. The anticipated issue date for a formal RFPs is March 27 with an April 27 deadline.

A contracting officer told PRWeek that the government is still defining requirements for the search process. He declined to discuss a potential budget.
