SAN FRANCISCO: Grayling has named Chris Boehlke CEO for its North America PR operations, leading its teams in New York, Washington, San Francisco, and Sacramento.

Boehlke joined Grayling when Huntsworth acquired her company, Connecting Point, in 2009. She currently leads Grayling's San Francisco operations. Boehlke has also worked at Edelman and Burson-Marsteller.

Since joining Grayling in 2009, she has more than doubled the size of the agency's San Francisco operations, the company said in a statement. Boehlke's 30-year PR career includes working across consumer, corporate, and technology PR, in addition to marketing services.

Grayling will look to strengthen its network and international client-services capabilities under Boehlke's leadership in North America, said Michael Murphy, global CEO, in a statement.

Mark Irion left his position as CEO of Dutko Grayling, the US public and government affairs arm of Huntsworth subsidiary Grayling, last month. Huntsworth relaunched Dutko Worldwide as Dutko Grayling in October.

A Grayling representative could not be immediately reached for comment.
