DALLAS: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has hired Aviareps to expand its presence in the Middle East, Africa, and India.
The $168,000 contract requires the firm to develop, manage, and implement a PR and communications plan for DFW initiatives. The firm is also charged with creating a business-to-business and trade and tourism annual relationship plan to support air service to DFW from various airlines, the airport said.
Aviareps, headquartered in Munich, Germany, beat out three other firms for the contact. The agency has 40 offices focused on the airport, airline, and tourism markets. Its portfolio includes 80 airlines, nine airports, and 90 tourism clients.
San Francisco International Airport hired Burson-Marsteller in January.
