NEW YORK: MWW Group has appointed René Spellman VP for youth marketing and entertainment.
Spellman, who will be based in New York, will help clients create youth marketing and entertainment strategies. She will focus on developing celebrity engagements, social media campaigns, and making brands relevant to younger audiences.
Prior to joining MWW, Spellman was an adviser on youth and federal engagement and strategic communications for the White House Council for Community Solutions. Before that, she was a White House liaison to the Corporation for National and Community Service and the US Department of Education.
Last week, the agency launched MWW Ventures, an investment unit that will provide resources for start-ups.
