LONDON: Brunswick Group has restructured its leadership team, naming Susan Gilchrist group CEO and Rob Pinker COO. Both will report to Alan Parker, executive chairman, who “will be freed up to take on increasing external and client-facing roles” in the new structure.
The firm also promoted Michael Buckley to US managing partner, Gilchrist's previous role. He will be based in San Francisco and work with US senior partner Steve Lipin.
Brunswick managing partner Jim Wilkinson left the firm last month to join PepsiCo as EVP of communications, replacing Julie Hamp. The agency hired Robert Moran and Samantha Lucas as partners last month.
Brunswick also said Wednesday that it will open an office in Sao Paolo, Brazil, marking its expansion into Latin America. Partners Thomas Kamm and Ana Paula Pessoa, who recently joined Brunswick from Brazilian media company Infoglobo, will lead the Sao Paolo office.
Gilchrist did not disclose specific revenue numbers for PRWeek's 2012 Agency Business Report, but said Brunswick's global revenue increased 35% with US revenue up 63% in the past two years.
