Airfoil names Tyler co-CEO, fills leadership committee

SOUTHFIELD, MI: Airfoil Public Relations has named cofounder Janet Tyler co-CEO, working alongside chief executive Lisa Vallee-Smith.

SOUTHFIELD, MI: Airfoil Public Relations has named cofounder Janet Tyler co-CEO, working alongside chief executive Lisa Vallee-Smith.

Tyler previously served as the agency's president.

She will assume responsibly for the firm's international business strategy and expanding its services portfolio. The agency will also work to grow its traditional and digital communications capabilities in new markets under her direction. Tyler will also work to formalize the firm's digital services offerings, the agency said in a statement.

Airfoil has also promoted four employees to its executive leadership team. It named SVP for client services Leah Haran, SVP for finance and administration Sharon Neumann, and strategy and organization development director Aaron Petras to the committee, along with Kevin Sangsland, VP of sales and marketing. Tyler, Vallee-Smith, and SVP Tracey Parry are also members of the executive leadership team.

Airfoil reported $8.1 million in revenue in 2011 for PRWeek's Agency Business Report, representing 20% year-over-year growth compared with 2010.
