NEW YORK: Porter Novelli has named Joe Shantz SVP for digital analytics.
Shantz will be responsible for identifying and creating digital tools and channels for audience engagement and analysis, the firm said in a statement. He began work at the agency on Monday. Shantz is reporting to Karen van Bergen, senior partner and MD of Porter's New York office.
Most recently, Shantz worked at Yahoo as director of marketing insights, where he managed audience recommendations and targeting and campaign channel optimization. He has also held positions at MySpace as director of analytics and has worked at Turner Broadcasting, PHD, and BBDO.
