LOS ANGELES: Organic probiotic drink manufacturer KeVita has selected Blaze PR as its first PR agency partner following an RFP.
Four firms competed in the final round of the review, said Bill Moses, CEO and co-founder of KeVita. He declined to name the other agencies.
KeVita chose Blaze because of its experience with traditional PR and social media, said Moses, as well as a recommendation from the company's marketing consultant Amanda O'Keefe.
“They are a strategic-thinking agency,” he explained. “I found them to be smart and boutique-ish, so that makes them nimble.”
Blaze will be responsible for raising brand awareness, handling product reviews, reaching out to influencers, and working on the company's social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter.
KeVita, which launched in 2009, hopes to reach more consumers, garner consistent media coverage, and increase its social media presence with the help of Blaze, said Moses. The agency, which will develop a media relations campaign for the brand, will also help with events.
He added that KeVita's target demographic is women, particularly those with strong health and wellness lifestyles, as well as yoga practitioners, yoga instructors, and nutritionists.
