AUSTIN, TX: Edelman has hired Brad Mays as SVP in the digital practice in its Austin, TX, office, effective immediately. The firm also added Tim Hayden as SVP of mobile strategy.
Mays and Hayden will be responsible for strengthening the agency's digital and mobile expertise and making the Southwest region a digital hub for Edelman, the firm said in a statement.
Mays will report to Morris Denton, EVP and GM of the Austin office, while Hayden reports to David Armano, MD of Edelman Digital in Chicago.
Mays previously worked as global engagement practice group leader for WCG and as SVP at Fleishman-Hillard. Hayden co-founded mobile marketing firm 44Doors, where he also served as CMO. Previously, he was a partner at Blue Clover Studios and CEO of experiential agency GamePlan.
