PALO ALTO, CA: Web survey development company SurveyMonkey has selected Airfoil Public Relations as its first PR agency partner in the US following a competitive review.
The company, which works with agencies in other countries such as Brazil, has engaged Airfoil to increase awareness of its offerings among both consumers and businesses, said Tracey Parry, SVP and partner at Airfoil. SurveyMonkey allows users to send out surveys, polls, questionnaires, customer feedback, and market research forms.
With a team of five staffers, the tech communications specialist firm will engage consumers, major companies, HR departments, educational institutions, and any other “organization or individual looking to have informed insights to make the best possible decision,” Parry said.
She added that SurveyMonkey, which offers both free and paid services, has worked with Facebook, Samsung, Audi, and other large businesses in the past to help them gather information on customer satisfaction.
Airfoil's responsibilities will include executing an advocacy program and driving awareness, said Parry.
“On the advocacy side, we're working with media and organizations to use SurveyMonkey themselves to engage their readers, followers, and listeners,” she explained. “We're currently working with Slate, MSNBC, Business Insider, US News & World Report, and others.”
Parry said Slate has used the survey platform to gather opinions and viewpoints of its readership about the 2012 presidential election.
The agency is also working to raise awareness of the company's offerings aside from online questionnaires.
“Beyond online services, SurveyMonkey offers things like the SurveyMonkey audience product, which is a panel of 3 million-plus consumers across the US that are ready to be accessed by companies large and small for market research,” said Parry.
From an events perspective, Airfoil will help SurveyMonkey elevate its presence at Advertising Week in New York the first week of October.
