NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has promoted both Midwest market leader Erica Swerdlow and Nicole Cornish, CEO of the Direct Impact grassroots unit, to EVP of the firm's US region.
Swerdlow will lead new business and marketing strategies for the firm in the US, while Cornish will handle business operations and resource management. Both will continue serving in their other roles and report to Burson US CEO Dave DenHerder.
Burson has also promoted Matt Burns, who joined the firm as Southwest public affairs market leader in June, to Southwest market leader. Burns oversees the agency's offices in Dallas, Houston, and Austin, TX.
The WPP Group agency also named Patrick Przybyski to a dual role as COO and CFO last month.
