SINGAPORE: The World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation has appointed Ogilvy Noor, the agency's Islamic branding practice, to develop and execute a global initiative for the eighth World Islamic Economic Forum. The event will take place this December in Malaysia.

The effort will include work in the UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

The goal of the event is to connect Muslim and non-Muslim communities and bring together global business, financial, and political leader to discuss, collaborate, and seize opportunities. Topics will include the changing dynamics of the global economy, the growing influence of youth and women in business, and the role of technology.

Ogilvy PR was also recently picked to manage communications for the World Economic Forum for the sixth consecutive year.
