Chinese e-retailer Vipshop taps Burson

NEW YORK: Chinese online retailer Vipshop has selected Burson-Marsteller as its agency partner to handle financial media relations in the US.

NEW YORK: Chinese online retailer Vipshop has selected Burson-Marsteller as its agency partner to handle financial media relations in the US. 

The account is being led by Daisy King, MD and head of Burson's US-China specialty group. Burson will work with Vipshop to position the company as a leader in the e-commerce industry.

Vipshop filed an IPO in March, making it the only Chinese company in 2012 to list fully in the US.
