COLUMBUS, OH: The Ohio Lottery Commission is looking for an agency that is capable of performing both earned and paid media services to promote the organization.
The winning firm will be required to execute an annual marketing and media plan to advocate for the commission. Other duties may include strategic planning, web and social media preparation, various PR services, and some advertising.
The commission has merged two contracts held by Cincinnati-based advertising and marketing agency Northlich and marcomms firm Hart Associates of Maumee, OH. The contracts were merged for efficiency purposes.
The contract will run from July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2015, with an option for two additional years.
Once a vendor is chosen, costs to the Ohio Lottery Commission are not to exceed $20 million during the initial two-year period, said Marie Kilbane, manager of the office of marketing and communications at the commission.
Responses to the RFP are due November 28.
The Delaware State Lottery began looking for a communications firm to launch various outreach initiatives in June.
