NEW YORK: NBCUniversal has promoted Lenore Moritz to VP of communications, digital, and integrated media in its entertainment, digital networks, and integrated media division.

In the expanded role, Moritz will lead communications for the integrated media group and oversee DailyCandy, Fandango, and Television Without Pity. Her responsibilities will include corporate messaging and media outreach, advising business leaders within the company, and developing a communications strategy.

She will report to the unit's SVP of communications Hilary Smith, president of digital Nick Lehman, and EVP and CMO John Shea.

Moritz was previously VP of communications for integrated media and iVillage. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, she founded the website MomCultureOnline.com and was SVP at DKC.

Earlier this month, NBCUniversal promoted Hilary Smith to SVP of communications for the company, as well as its entertainment, digital network, and integrated media groups. Smith replaced Cameron Blanchard, who was promoted to SVP of corporate communications in October.
