The digital revolution has served as a change agent for both the PR industry and its leaders. Two-thirds of respondents to a survey by the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations said they see four crucial issues in the field, with “managing the speed and flow of information” and “overseeing digital information” the top two.
They also cited “improving communications measurement” and “dealing with fast-moving crises.” The most desirable leadership skill was “possessing communications knowledge.”
