HONG KONG: Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed John Morgan president and CEO of its Asia region, replacing James Heimowitz.

Heimowitz is leaving H+K after more than eight years with the firm. He will stay on as a senior adviser to help with the leadership transition.

Morgan, who joined H+K in March as COO for Asia and MD of the Hong Kong office, assumes leadership of nearly 500 employees across 14 offices in the region. He will report to H+K global chairman and CEO Jack Martin.

Previously, Morgan worked at GolinHarris for more than 15 years, most recently as regional MD for greater China.
