AUSTIN, TX: Social commerce company Bazaarvoice has promoted VP of global marketing Lisa Pearson to EVP of marketing, succeeding CMO Erin Mulligan Nelson.
Pearson will report to Stephen Collins, CEO, CFO, and president of the company. She is tasked with managing and executing marketing strategies for Bazaarvoice around the world.
Nelson, who joined the company as CMO in 2010, will remain at Bazaarvoice until March 2013 to help Pearson transition into her role.
In Pearson's previous role at Bazaarvoice, some of her responsibilities included brand strategy, media relations, and analyst relations.
Prior to joining Bazaarvoice, Pearson held leadership roles at DeVries and Euro RSCG, where she worked on brands such as American Express, IBM, Procter & Gamble, and Sprint.
