Weber to move Nicholas to Sydney office

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Weber Shandwick will move Alistair Nicholas, EVP for corporate and public affairs, from its Beijing office to Sydney, Australia, effective January 21, 2013.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Weber Shandwick will move Alistair Nicholas, EVP for corporate and public affairs, from its Beijing office to Sydney, Australia, effective January 21, 2013.

Nicholas will counsel public affairs clients in various industries and contribute to growth opportunities. He will report to Jacquelynne Wilcox, senior strategic counsel and head of the public affairs and crisis group at the firm.

Nicholas joined Weber in early 2011 after forming consulting firm AC Capital Strategic Consulting in Beijing in 2003. He previously served as Australia's trade commissioner to the World Bank and the United Nations in Washington. Nicholas has also worked as a communications adviser to several Australian government ministers.
