SINGAPORE: Hill+Knowlton Strategies has promoted Malaysia deputy MD Jamie Morse to MD of its Singapore office.
Morse has succeeded Baey Yam Keng, who has moved to a senior advisory role at H+K while serving as a member of Singapore's Parliament.
Morse is responsible for bringing on talent in Singapore; growing the business, particularly in technology and healthcare; and expanding the firm's digital capabilities.
Morse started at H+K in 2009 as an account director in Qatar, returning to Asia last year as deputy MD in Malaysia. Prior to that, he held in-house and consultancy roles in Australia and South Korea.
H+K also promoted Chip Ng to deputy MD of Singapore and regional director of financial communications for Southeast Asia. He will assist Morse with managing office operations and growth, oversee client relationships and growth of the corporate and financial practice in Singapore, and leading the financial communications practice in Southeast Asia.
Ng has been with H+K since 2011 as executive director in Singapore. He previously held leadership roles at Ruder Finn and Weber Shandwick in Asia.
