SAN FRANCISCO: W2O Group reported a 30% organic increase in global revenue to $62 million in 2012, compared with the prior year.

WCG restructured last year, creating a new parent company called W2O Group that oversees WCG, as well as recently created agencies Twist and W2O Ventures. The holding company's firms collectively employ nearly 350 people, compared with approximately 250 a year ago.

The company has grown its reputation through strong work for clients, as well as growing its digital and analytics offerings, said CEO Jim Weiss. The holding company acquired Austin-based digital agency VM Foundry and created W2O Digital in the past year.

It also launched MDigital Life to understand how physicians are using social media to improve patient health, the success of their practices, and regain a voice in the healthcare system.

“We've been hearing recently that other firms are going more digital, but [W2O] has a truly integrated offering,” Weiss said.

He expects W2O to generate between $75 million and $80 million in 2013 due to increased interest in its technology and consumer offerings.

Last month, IT management software company BMC Software named WCG its AOR after a competitive RFP process for its multimillion-dollar account.
