LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND: SportAccord, the international organization that represents Olympic and non-Olympic sports federations, has formed a strategic partnership with Burson-Marsteller.
The agency will advise SportAccord on communications issues and work to strengthen the brand and its offerings and projects, such as SportAccord Multi-Sports Games.
Dennis Landsbert-Noon, chairman of Burson's sport practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and global marketing team MD Rhonda Brauer are leading the partnership. Landsbert-Noon is based in Brussels, and Brauer is in Los Angeles.
On the SportAccord side, director general Vincent Gaillard and Nathalie Smeeman, manager of marketing and communications, are overseeing the effort.
