RALEIGH, NC: French/West/Vaughan has brought on two staffers and promoted two team members.
The agency hired Justin Champion, previously director of client services and delivery at Three Ships Media, to serve as digital marketing supervisor, focusing on digital, social, and experiential marketing strategies.
FWV also hired Charles Upchurch as senior counselor, acting as lead writer and media relations strategist for clients such as TigerSwan and the US Polo Association. Upchurch previously worked at the firm for 10 years before starting his own shop.
Melissa Rivera, group account director at FWV, was promoted to VP. She will manage accounts including the US Polo Association and Hood River Distillers. Before joining FWV, she was PR director at Rubberneck, managing clients such as LexisNexis and Consolidated Shoe Company.
The firm also promoted Debbie Stark, who has worked at the firm since 2008, to accounting and benefits manager.
