Weber Shandwick launches content creation unit

NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick has developed a content creation and distribution unit called Mediaco, aimed at bringing together content marketing and new media for clients.

NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick has developed a content creation and distribution unit called Mediaco, aimed at bringing together content marketing and new media for clients.

Jason Wellcome, GM of the unit, will collaborate with Chris Perry, Weber's global head of digital, to manage Mediaco's daily operations.

The unit will launch globally with specialist roles, such as planners, editors, writers, and SEO experts.
