NEW YORK: Bloomberg is launching a service that will allow communications professionals to monitor Bloomberg News articles about their companies.

The Bloomberg News Monitoring platform will give access to news customized by category, industry, key executives, customers, or suppliers. Users will be able to monitor coverage in domestic and international markets through their web browser, RSS feed, or CMS.

While Bloomberg employs 2,400 professionals globally to write news, only a fraction of stories are available online, and none are accessible through third-party news-monitoring services. With the new service, users will be able to view the same articles as Bloomberg Terminal customers, which include global financial professionals.
