WASHINGTON: Global Strategy Group has expanded its Washington DC staff with several senior hires.
Khristyn Brimmeier has joined the firm as VP of communications. She was most recently VP in the public affairs division of Glover Park Group. During the 2008 election cycle, she developed and executed an advocacy campaign for the Alliance for American Manufacturing.
The firm also hired Shira Levy as a director. Levy was most recently a media buyer with GMMB during the 2012 election cycle. She previously spent five years with Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter & Associates.
Mark Gersh will provide strategic counsel on politics and public affairs as a senior adviser to the firm. He is the founder and Washington director of NCEC Services Company.
Earlier this year, Global Strategy Group hired Bill Burton as EVP and MD of its DC office.
