LONDON: Adam Powell has moved from PR agency Bell Pottinger Business & Brand to join Ogilvy Public Relations in the UK as a director in its corporate and public affairs practice.
Powell joined earlier this month and is working alongside head of corporate and public affairs Ian Bundred to lead the strategic direction and growth of the practice, which has a team of 15 staffers.
“His appointment means we can build our brand reputation specialism and drive influence at scale for some of the world's biggest brands,” Bundred said.
Most recently, Powell served as a partner at Bell Pottinger. He also previously served as a director for three years at the firm.
Before Bell Pottinger, he worked in the press office of lobbying organization CBI and as a news editor for the Daily Mail.
“Brand and reputation should be at the top of every organization's watch-list and Ogilvy PR's insights, ideas, reach, and scale mean it is ideally placed to provide brilliant strategic counsel and delivery around the world,” said Powell.
