As thousands of people from around the world descend on Cannes for the premier global celebration of creativity, 19 judging panelists and one jury president have been here for days reviewing over 800 entries for the PR Lions, culled from nearly 1,300.
The 2013 submissions have been remarkable, and are proof that the creative bar continues to rise.
Technology has been a near-constant across campaigns, driving new creative spark. Use of original videos and other branded content to fuel engagement and sharing has also been a phenomenon here.
