NEW YORK: GolinHarris has appointed Andrea Morgan, former MD at Emanate, to serve as executive director and head of the agency's consumer marketing practice in New York. She started in the role on Monday.
Morgan, who moved to Emanate last August, is reporting to Tony Telloni, MD at Golin. Telloni, previously New York market leader at Burson-Marsteller, joined Golin on June 10. Morgan has succeeded Catherine Franklin, who left the agency in May.
She will be responsible for leading the agency's consumer team in New York, which works on accounts such as Unilever, Nintendo, Cotton Inc., AutoTrader.com, Maurices, and Adidas.
Morgan said she is focused on “helping the New York consumer practice in taking them further than where they are already.” She added that she will collaborate with Golin executives in offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston, among other locations.
Prior to Emanate, where she oversaw the consumer practice and new business development, Morgan worked at Zeno Group for three years, serving as MD of the New York office. Previously, she was EVP and MD at Euro RSCG Worldwide from November 2006 to September 2009. Morgan also spent 11 years in Edelman's consumer brand practice.
Throughout her career, Morgan has worked with brands such as Sears, Kmart, Office Depot, Bacardi, and Claritin.
In May, Golin brought on former Zeno Group EVP Mark O'Connor to serve as executive director of national media relations. The agency also named Farah Speer North America healthcare practice leader last month.
