SINGAPORE: FleishmanHillard has promoted agency veteran Beth Boswell to MD for Southeast Asia.
It also named Cosette Romero and Louisa Tuhatu, SVP and GM of the Manila and Jakarta offices, respectively, partner.
Based in Singapore, Boswell will be responsible for growing the network in the region. She will work closely with Tuhatu, Romero, and the other GMs to foster further collaboration across Fleishman's Southeast Asia network, and to assist each market with its strategic direction.
Lynne Anne Davis, Fleishman's president of Asia-Pacific, who was overseeing the Southeast Asian operation, said as more companies look to Southeast Asia for business development, they need a strong, collaborative network with the senior expertise to assist them in building brands and protecting their reputations.
“In Southeast Asia, our fastest-growing practices are corporate communications, issues management, and brand marketing communications, all featuring strong social media integration,” she told Campaign Asia-Pacific.
Prior to the new role, Boswell was responsible for the firm's Asia-Pacific strategic growth planning. She joined Fleishman 18 years ago and has spent a total of 12 years working in more than seven markets across Asia-Pacific, including Singapore, Indonesia, China, and India. Boswell has counseled clients in the technology, healthcare, consumer, and manufacturing sectors.
With 25 years of Philippines communications experience, Romero was responsible for driving growth of the firm's Manila office, working with clients in the technology, aviation, consumer products, and general corporate sectors.
Tuhatu joined the firm three years ago and is the founding GM of Fleishman's Indonesia operation, which boasts a client list spanning the technology, telecommunications, automotive, mining, and consumer products sectors.
