NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick has extended its footprint in East Africa by partnering with Gina Din Corporate Communications, an independent PR agency based in Kenya.
The firm was founded in 1997 by former Barclays Bank of Kenya head of corporate affairs Gina Din-Kariuki.
The partnership means Weber Shandwick Africa can support clients in 20 markets across the continent.
“In the past few years, more and more global companies and institutions have come to us looking for the best way to develop markets in Africa,” Weber chairman Jack Leslie said in a statement. “Gina Din will be a great partner in East Africa to help lead our expansion there.”
