Vonage begins search for US PR agency partner

The company provides communications services through cloud-connected devices.

Jo Ann Tizzano, director of corporate communications at Vonage, confirmed that the New Jersey-based corporation sent out an RFI, but declined to offer additional information on the process.

Finn Partners was serving as Vonage's AOR in March 2012, when the firm worked on a campaign to raise awareness of the brand's mobile app. Vonage remains listed on Finn Partners' website as a client. The company has also worked with digital shop Connections Media and Access Communications.

Representatives from Finn Partners were not immediately available for comment.

In the second quarter of 2013, Vonage reported a 3% revenue drop, year-over-year, to $204.8 million. It earned a profit of $7.4 million in the quarter.

In May, Vonage launched a service brand called BasicTalk, which offers consumers a home phone service at a flat monthly rate.

Vonage, which has about 2.4 million subscribers, sells its services online as well as at retailers in the US, Canada, and the UK.
