CARLSBAD, CA: Weight loss and nutrition company Jenny Craig has issued a review for a PR agency partner.

CARLSBAD, CA: Weight loss and nutrition company Jenny Craig has issued a review for a PR agency partner.

The incumbent on the account is PMK-BNC.

The company is undergoing an agency search, said Jenny Craig CMO Leesa Eichberger. She declined to disclose any further information about the process.

Jenny Craig has been working with Interpublic Group agency PMK-BNC since 2010. The firm said in a statement that it declined to participate in the RFP but that "we wish them success moving forward."

In April, Eichberger joined the company as marketing chief from Vonage, where she served as VP of marketing. She reports to Jenny Craig CEO Dana Fiser.

Earlier this month, Eichberger launched her first advertising campaign for the brand called Eat. Live. Jenny. The initiative, which was developed by Jenny Craig's creative firm, Havas Worldwide New York, moves away from the traditional use of celebrity spokespeople and focuses on educating women about the company's offers and messaging.

Nestle, Jenny Craig's parent company, posted organic sales growth of 4.1%, year-over-year, in the first half of 2013. Its first-half profit was up 3.7%, year-on-year.

However, Nestle CFO Wan Ling Martello said earlier this month that the company is looking to improve the Jenny Craig business with the goal of increasing sales in North America, according to Bloomberg News.
