Simon lands role as UK gov't digital comms chief

Anthony Simon has been confirmed as head of digital communications for the Prime Minister's Office and the Cabinet Office.

LONDON: Anthony Simon has been confirmed as head of digital communications for the Prime Minister's Office and the Cabinet Office.

Simon was handed the role on an interim basis after the departure of his former boss Nick Jones for Visa in March.

He steps in as the government concludes its digital capability review, which among other findings concludes that "there is no natural home for digital within departments.”
