SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Weber Shandwick has appointed Josh Wright as an adviser on its Australian public affairs team.
He joined Weber from Transport for NSW, where he was business manager in the office of the deputy director general. Wright moved from a departmental position to ministerial adviser roles for both sides of politics. He most recently served as an adviser to the transport deputy director general responsible for infrastructure programs.
Wright began his career in the Australian military, where he developed an expertise in security and emergency management, in addition to public affairs and communications. Afterwards, he held a number of senior roles in Australian Commonwealth government departments in the capital of Canberra.
