BANGKOK: FleishmanHillard has opened an office in Bangkok, Thailand, expanding the firm's presence in Southeast Asia.
The agency, which already had operations in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, has appointed Sophis Kasemsahasin as SVP and GM of the Bangkok office.
FleishmanHillard Thailand will work with clients across a range of industries, including corporate, technology, financial services, consumer, and hospitality. Its team will provide digital integrated communications efforts for companies, as well as PR, public affairs, online reputation management, and other consulting services to multinational corporations in Thailand, as well as local and international Thai brands.
The office's other services will include strategic communications, corporate reputation, and brand marketing support. The office will focus on CEO communications, issues and crisis management, digital consulting, corporate positioning, media training, and stakeholder engagement, as well.
Kasemsahasin has worked on CSR and consumer marketing campaigns for companies and government organizations including Thailand's ministries of energy and foreign affairs, the prime minister's office, and the Thailand Board of Investment. She also has experience counseling clients on corporate branding, IPOs, M&A, and marketing communications.
Kasemsahasin previously served as both the Asia-Pacific marketing communications leader and Thailand marketing communications manager for Accenture.
In July, Fleishman promoted agency veteran Beth Boswell to MD for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore.
