NEW YORK: Edelman has hired Chris Paul as global director of paid media, a new role at the agency.
He will work to define the firm's approach to paid media, the agency said in a statement, reporting to Kevin King, global practice chair for Edelman Digital. Paul will also work closely with John Clinton, manager of the firm's paid media strategy and CEO of Edelman Canada.
Previously, Paul was EVP and GM of VivaKi's Audience on Demand, overseeing strategic vision and operations for its suite of services. He also led the media team for American Express at Digitas and worked at Trilogy Software, Be Free, MediaVest Digital, and 24/7 Real Marketing.
