PBN founders to integrate Russian agency into H+K

The founders of PBN, the Russian agency that WPP Group took a majority stake in last year and merged with Hill+Knowlton Strategies, are making way for a new CEO at the firm.

LONDON: The founders of PBN, the Russian agency that WPP Group took a majority stake in last year and merged with Hill+Knowlton Strategies, are making way for a new CEO at the firm.

PBN Hill+Knowlton Strategies specializes in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Peter Necarsulmer, CEO and chairman, will become executive chairman, while president Susan Thurman will become vice chair and senior adviser. They will focus on the agency's clients and its integration with H+K's global network of 89 offices and 52 countries.

Myron Waslyk, a partner and shareholder, will become CEO in January. Waslyk previously established and directed the company's Ukraine office.

Oksana Monastyrska, a 16-year agency veteran, will become VP and MD of the Ukraine operation, while senior counselor Phillip Griffin will become director of government relations in Ukraine.
