PARIS: Publicis Groupe has acquired Verilogue, a healthcare analytics firm that specializes in physician-patient communication. The agency will become part of Publicis Healthcare Communications.

Founded in 2006, Verilogue specializes in “the worldwide digital capture and linguistic analysis of real-world encounters between physicians, nurses, patients, and caregivers in North America, Europe, and Asia,” Publicis said in a statement.

Edison Venture Fund, Verilogue's primary investor, will exit the company as a result of the deal.

CEO and co-founder Jeff Kozloff will continue to lead the agency and its 31 staffers. The firm will report to Janet Winkler, president of Publicis Healthcare unit In-Sync Group.
