MSL grants holiday wishes

MSLGroup employees donated gifts for underprivileged children and teens as part of the New York Cares' Winter Wishes program.

This holiday season, many of MSLGroup's offices across North America are giving back to their local communities.

Forty-five employees in the New York office donated more than 100 gifts for underprivileged children and teens as part of the agency's ninth year participating in New York Cares' Winter Wishes program (pictured). Children and teens wrote letters requesting gifts, and staff members granted their wishes.

MSLGroup's Chicago office has adopted a family for the holidays as part of Heartland Alliance's Adopt-A-Family campaign.

The Boston office is holding its 14th annual Toys for Tots drive for the US Marine Corps Reserve, a program that collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.

Many offices have raised funds for a cause. The San Francisco office donated $1,000 to Haitian relief, and the Chicago office raised money to support Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts. Additionally, the Washington, DC office is having a “Casual for a Cause” week in which staffers contribute $5 a day to wear casual clothes to work and donate the collected money to the DC Central Kitchen.

Offices have also collected food donations. The New York office donated 400 pounds of food to City Harvest, a New York City food rescue organization, and the Chicago office's Boundless Impact team donated three boxes of canned goods and other nonperishables to the Lakeview Pantry East.
