CooperKatz spreads holiday cheer to NYC neighbors

CooperKatz is partnering with Astor Services for Children and Families to support its Adopt-A-Family program.

This holiday season, CooperKatz is partnering with Astor Services for Children and Families to support its Adopt-A-Family program.  Astor Services is a community-based nonprofit that serves children and families in New York's mid-Hudson Valley region and the Bronx. The organization manages the Adopt-A-Family program to provide families in need with gifts to make the holiday season as joyful as possible.

CooperKatz is matched up with a family in New York City and will provide them with many items from their holiday wish list.  As with the agency's volunteer program, everyone on staff has stepped up to provide support.

The firm is committed to charitable giving throughout the year, supporting a variety of organizations through run-walk events, clothing drives, and participation in events such as City Harvest's “Skip Lunch. Fight Hunger.” In 2012, CooperKatz stepped it up a notch by offering employees the opportunity to volunteer for two half-days during regular business hours, covering one full paid day of volunteering per year. This is part of the agency's internal wellness program and a benefit that employees have embraced.
