BOSTON: March Communications has launched content marketing, video production, and research and analytics offerings.

The tech PR firm, which was established in 2005, has been preparing the new capabilities since March, said co-founder and managing partner Martin Jones.

The agency has hired a new staffer for its content marketing team, two employees to focus on video production, and one to work with research and analytics group March Insight, Jones said.

March Insight is focused on helping clients with campaign measurement and reach, social media analytics, and research-driven content development, he explained.

The content marketing team will create a number of assets for clients, such as e-books, website copy, infographics, and SlideShare presentations. March's PR team will also work closely with the content marketing staff to promote the content through a number of channels.

With the production offering, March will be able to work with clients on live or animated videos, including editing.

Jones said the agency's goal for the next year is to grow these three areas. He added he would also like the firm to expand in healthcare and green tech while remaining rooted in technology.

In addition to the new offerings, March recently added nine new accounts to its client portfolio, including Ubuntu-creator Canonical; CSR; Open-Xchange; Provenir; Trapit; ASG Software Solutions; Brand Protect; Cambridge Consultants; and Mobally.

March, which has 25 staffers in its Boston headquarters, will also aim to open another office in the US next year, Jones said.
