BlackBerry's public policy exec Cameron joins H+K

OTTAWA, ONTARIO: Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada has appointed Mark Cameron as deputy practice leader of its national energy practice, effective January 2, 2014.

OTTAWA, ONTARIO: Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada has appointed Mark Cameron as deputy practice leader of its national energy practice, effective January 2, 2014.

Cameron will provide clients with strategic advice while complying with the Federal Accountability Act.

He joins H+K from BlackBerry, where he led international public policy issues and helped coordinate strategies for sales to government. 

Before that, he was director of public affairs at Ontario Power Generation, and served at the Office of the Prime Minister in Canada first as director of policy and research, and later as director of strategic initiatives, and senior policy advisor.
