Stanton, Crenshaw to split agency

NEW YORK: Stanton Crenshaw Communications announced February 3 that principals Alex Stanton and Dorothy Crenshaw will form distinct businesses. Stanton will retain the firm, which will be rebranded, and build its clientele with corporate, financial, b-to-b, and technology businesses. Crenshaw will launch Crenshaw Communications on February 9, and will focus on consumer marketing, and consumer and business technology, and digital clients. "We’ve operated increasingly as separate and distinct business units," Stanton said in a statement. "After much discussion, we believe that splitting the business will enable each of us to bring greater focus and resources to our respective clients."
